San Angelo ISD is proud to offer FREE STEM Camps this summer for students who will be entering 3rd through 12th grade for the 2025–2026 school year. These camps are designed to spark curiosity, encourage problem-solving, and prepare students for future-ready learning – all in a fun and engaging environment!

Whether your student loves building, coding, experimenting, or just enjoys learning through doing, our STEM Camps provide exciting opportunities for exploration at every grade level. It’s the perfect opportunity for students to dive into future-ready STEM learning in a fun and engaging way!

Online registration opens on Monday, May 12 at 8:00 a.m. and closes Friday, May 16 at 5:00 p.m. Enrollment is granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents will be notified of enrollment or waitlist on May 23.

Elementary and Middle School STEM Camps (Current 2nd-8th Graders)

Join us for a day of exploration, innovation and fun filled with hands-on activities! At Summer STEM Camp, students will participate in engaging sessions designed for exploration, creation and problem-solving, all taught by SAISD teachers. Sessions are divided by grade level and include topics such as coding, robotics, engineering, and more. These camps are open to all current 2nd–8th grade students who are enrolled in SAISD. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

Middle School STEM Camp (Current Grades 5-8)

High School VEX V5 Robotics Competition Summer Camp (Incoming 9th-12th Graders)

We’re excited to offer a VEX Robotics Summer Camp for our high school students, focused on real-world engineering, coding and teamwork! The Robotics Competition Team is hosting a summer program centered around the 2025 VEX V5 Robotics Competition (V5RC) prompt, “Push Back.” The V5RC Summer Camp is open to all students who will be attending Central High School or Lake View High School in the fall of 2025.

Throughout the week, students will build, code, and document their own robots, culminating in a scrimmage meet on Friday. This is a great opportunity for students to get a head start on the upcoming 2025 robotics season, while building valuable STEM and collaboration skills.

VEX V5 Robotics Competition Summer Camp Details:
