Carmel, Calif- The Angelo State women's golf team concluded day one of play in the Patriot Invitational hosted by DBU, with two rounds of play on Mar. 17 

Round One:  

• The Rambelles concluded the opening round of play in 13th place with a team score of 325.  

• Lacey Stevens turned in the best first round performance, tied for 27th with a score of 76.  

• Caitlin Vanderkruk ended the first round tied for 64th with a score of 83.  

• Johanna Öhrling concluded play in the opening round with a score of 83, while also being tied for 64th.  

• Kelsey Kline also tied for 64th  with a round score of 83.  

• Ella Olivarez rounded out the scoring for the Belles in the opening round, tied for 84th with a score of 91.  

Round Two:  

• After the final round of play, the Belles ended the day in 13th place with a combined score of 648.  

• Stevens continued to be the leader for the Blue and Gold, ending the day tied for 45th with a combined score of 160.  

• Kline turned in the second-best performance in round two, tied for 50th with a round two score of 78.  

• Öhrling ended the first day of play tied for 54th with a combined score of 162.  

• Vanderkruk concluded her first day of play tied for 65th with a second-round score of 82.  

• Olivarez wrapped up the team scoring for Angelo State, tied for 82nd with a combined score of 179.
