Indianapolis, Ind. – The Angelo State softball team is ranked third in the South Central, the NCAA announced this afternoon with the release of the regional rankings.
No. 1 UT Tyler and No. 3 West Texas A&M slot above the Rambelles. The Rambelles are ranked ahead of No. 20 Oklahoma Christian, Colorado Christian, Colorado Mesa, MSU Denver, and Lubbock Christian.
Cameron and St. Edward's round out the top ten.
The NCAA Tournament field will be announced on Monday, March 5th, at 9 a.m. Central time on ncaa.com.
The Rambelles enter the LSC Tournament with a 43-11 record and a 34-10 record in LSC play. They take on Eastern New Mexico tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the LSC Tournament quarterfinals.
