SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State track & field teams compete in the final meet before conference championships as the 12th-ranked Rams and 11th-ranked Rambelles finish the ASU Invite tomorrow at LeGrand Stadium at 1st Community Credit Union Field.
Several field events competed this afternoon with Kobi Valchar winning the men's discus (51.81m), Oleg Ananev winning the pole vault (5.30m), and Josh Body taking first in the triple jump at 14.94m. For the Rambelles, Tiamara Hill-Johnson took first in the weight throw at 45.55m, while Kylyie Paden won the pole vault (3.80m), and Gracie Stephens won the triple jump (11.80m).
Thursday kicks off with the 3000m steeplechase beginning at 10:30 a.m. while field events start at 11:30 a.m.
