SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — A new Mexican restaurant is planning to hold its grand opening on Aug. 16. Here's where it is and a glimpse at what's on the menu.

The restaurant Mil Amores is located at 4509 Sherwood Way, in the strip mall near the Cinemark Tinseltown USA movie theater. It occupies the same structure that the Craving Crab seafood eatery did before it closed in May 2024.

While Concho Valley Homepage staff reached out to the establishment for comments, it is unknown at the time of publication whether Mil Amores is related to the Mexican seafood hybrid restaurant that was teased about coming to the location in previous months.

According to the Mil Amores Facebook page, the business will offer a variety of Tex-Mex food options as well as seafood. Foods listed on a menu published on the page include tacos, nachos, quesadillas, enchiladas, tilapia, shrimp and even boiled octopus in certain dishes.

The restaurant has also advertised a selection of specialty alcoholic drinks through its Facebook page.
