SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Concho Valley PAWS is asking for the community's help in supporting a dog that was struck by a vehicle on Sept. 30.
CVPAWS stated via social media that the City of San Angelo's Animal Services after it was hit by a car during the morning. As of the time of publication, the dog is being treated at the San Angelo Veterinary Hospital.
A photo shared by the organization showed that the dog's face had blood staining its forehead, muzzle and nose. Blood drops could also be seen on its front-left leg.
CVPAWS has launched a Facebook fundraiser to support the dog. Those who wish to give may also visit cvpaws.org/donate.
The organization promised in the social media post to "provide an update soon" about the dog.
